In the 1980’s, graphic designer and painter Futura gained popularity for his unique and abstract graffiti art in New York City. His innovative style eventually took him around the world and gained him opportunities to work with artist like The Clash, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Kenny Scharf. He has since become a graphic designer for collectible toys from Japan, shoes, and brands like A Bathing Ape, Nike, and Recon. He also owns his own clothing line called FUTURA LABORATORIES. 55 and still runnin’ the game.
