Mos Def, Lenny Kravitz, Trombone Shorty: Gulf Aid All Stars

So, I know, this is some10 months old now.  I just HAD to post this up again because it is simply THAT dope.  This is a jam session for a song written for Gulf Aid (a benefit for those affected by the Gulf oil spill disaster) entitled “It Ain’t My Fault.” (Sound familiar?  Yup, the chorus is – almost oddly so – a perfectly appropriate mimic of New Orleans natives Mystikal and Silkk The Shocker’s 1998 single by the same name).  The jam session includes the mighty Mos Def, Lenny Kravitz, Trombone Shorty, Tim Robbins (yes, the actor) and The Preservation Hall Jazz Band.  The names alone should have your interest piqued already.  Wonderful song.  Beautifully shot video.  It deserves posting again.  And again…

No more needs to be said.  Just click and enjoy.
